SHRM Jacksonville welcomes your application to provide our chapter with topics that will allow us to advance the human resource profession and the capabilities of all human resource professionals to ensure that HR is an essential and effective partner in developing and executing organizational strategy. Following are some guidelines to consider when developing a presentation for SHRM Jacksonville.
-
Sessions must relate directly to the PHR & SPHR Body of Knowledge as it is our intention that all meetings receive HR Certification Institute general or strategic recertification credits. The Body of Knowledge can be found here.
-
Sessions should be 60-90 minutes in length.
-
Presenters are expected to honor our commitment to provide education by not showcasing or promoting the speaker's practice, services or products. Note that speakers can also sponsor a chapter meeting, but presentation should be separate from the sponsorship.
-
Please see the list below for possible topics.
Presenters who would like to share their areas of expertise or interest will need to complete the request to speak form and submit to the program chair. We plan our meetings well in advance so please provide us with several dates you are available to speak.
All request received will be considered and answered within 7 days of receipt. Special Consideration is given to programs that have been preapproved for HRCI credits.
Thank you for your interest in speaking at one of our SHRM Jacksonville chapter meetings.
